The location and facilities of this library are excellent. The environment is modern, comfortable, and very convenient.nHowever, the quality of behavior among visitors varies greatly. Some people do not put their phones on silent, some take phone calls inside the library for extended periods even up to an hour, and others come mainly to use the air conditioning while playing games with the sound on. These behaviors significantly affect those who genuinely come here to study or read.nI sincerely hope the library could consider creating a completely silent study area with a booking or reservation system. This would help filter usage and provide a more focused and respectful environment for people who truly need a quiet space to study.
Great facilities. Has a lovely coffee shop. Very well attended by wide range of patrons. Lots of school age children having tutors or teenagers studying. Very safe with a security guard in attendance. Easy, free parking
The building is so stylish that just passing by makes you feel excited. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, making it easy to use. There are plenty of desks, perfect for studying or research, and photocopying facilities are available too. Plus, there’s a trendy café inside the same building, ideal for a refreshing break.
I had a very disappointing experience at the library today during a baby activity session. While we were in the children’s area, a staff member wearing all black said to my 15-month-old baby, “I don’t like your stare.”nnThis is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. My child is far too young to understand or respond, and there is no justification for speaking to a baby in this way—especially in a space that is meant to be welcoming, safe, and supportive for young families.nnI understand that people can have off moments, but this kind of comment from a staff member is concerning. I hope the library takes this seriously and ensures all staff communicate with kindness and professionalism, particularly around babies and children.nnWhile the activity itself was otherwise enjoyable, this interaction left me feeling quite uncomfortable.
I love this library! From the resources to the volunteer led groups, plus the exceptionally kind & helpful staff - there is only positivity to relay about this location. There is ample parking, a variety of seating indoor & outdoor, the amazing aroma of coffee brewing, and a selection of books to choose from. I’m so grateful for everything that is offered!nnArthur knew best: “having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card”
