Great library, has the main floor and silent area upstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Can bring food and drinks in. Has a water station and many bathrooms. There are individual group study pods as well as rooms that can be booked for use. Plenty of space and room. Opened for long hours and has 24 hour spaces. Not limited to Griffith students, anyone is welcome
3 level of studying areas with different facilities, filtered water provided even PlayStation area and in/out side sitting area, opened until 12 am during weekdays and there is 24/7 hall open all the time
This is how a library should be run, i.e. 24 hours a day access, 7 days a week. You can bring food in and talk at a low level. It is, on the whole, an amazing social / study space that is a pleasure to attend and use. A far cry from the dusty, dank, deary, and overall unpleasant libraries of past decades.
This place used to be exceptional, brilliant facilities, kind staff, a perfect study/work environment. This review isn’t about the space.nnUnfortunately, recent changes to hours of the previously 24/7 study spaces have made this place - a taxpayer funded, public research university - substantially less accessible to the public. It’s unfortunately, truly.nnI sincerely hope you reconsider this decision.
