I have never ever seen so full and well informed museum. Right from dinosaur fossils to the age old history of aboriginals, you can find anything here. Best for a school trip or a random evening strolling for a visitor.

This free entry museum starts with a display of animals from around the world. From there you can travel via various floors to other places and /or times. A magical place perfect for an hour or two or a day. Also a great place to take children.

Great museum. Many interesting stuffs to see & to snap photos. Many levels of interests for adults & kids. Recommended to visit when in Adelaide.

Visited Waterhouse exhibition. Beautifully curated & thought-provoking as usual. Lovely chap with great good humour welcomed us into museum. Great experience.

Actually is a word I seldom use however I will on this occasion.......it's'"actually" great to see my kids enjoying themselves and quietly absorbing and appreciating each Museum visit of which they ask to do each XMAS break annually. Awesome day out with the family and the cafe is pretty good to, both scoring a 5 Star AAA+++.

Really good section on aboriginal history. Overall the museum is much better than the perth museum.

Worth checking it out. It's free. Will be better once all the information tablets are turned back on. Understandable that they are off due to covid.
