Cool free Museum to visit while your in the Botanic Gardens. Volunteer worker there is welcoming and is keen to tell you all about anything botany!
Well what a find this place was! Purely accidental but what a delight. It was like stepping back in time. Amazing collection of botanical items sourced from all around the world for their usefulness to mankind. The displays were fascinating and the presentation unlike anything else in Australia. Loved it.
A small free museum that is interesting for a quick visit if you're passing, located in a nice building in Adelaide botanic gardens.
I never knew how awesome it was in here until we made a recent visit, awesome information and art while the seeds and fruit exhibits of fruit and plants from over the world is excellent and very informative
Fascinating display of how plants and humanity have coexisted.
This Museum is a rare gem, an insight into the past and a lesson for our day. The building itself is beautiful and the displays include 130 year old creations of fruit and mushrooms which works of art. There was a guide who spoke with passion and knowledge. Wonderful!
Sooo interesting. Even learned about Sri Lankan tradition - where I often spent time. And the importance of the coconut. Building is awesome. And inside exhibition shows again how important plants are and always have been in human life.
Beautiful display of botanical plants. Lovely old building. A step back in time
One of only two museums in the world with this type of conservation! It’s an awesome place to visit!!
Beautiful historic building, interesting and informative exhibits and samples on display and local art. Found this was open by chance, great to visit.
