Story

Somewhere Bar is your cozy effortless bar on Chapel Street that aims to take you away from Chapel Streets’ over-crowded and over-priced hoards and traps.

A boutique bar, we’re simple, small and easy. And we won’t even try to pretend to be fancy; we have no idea what an ironed napkin looks like. Nor will we advertise you a free ‘lay’ with every ‘bucket’ on a neon sign.

No, we are the grown-up version of the 90s hangout in your mates garage. We would be the love child of Kurt Cobain and Chloe Sevigny; rough and grungy, but refined and smart. We’re the answer on your lips on those nights when you’re not sure what to do or where to go, but you know you want to do something, somewhere.

We’re just around the corner, whether you’re stopping by for several or a solo dip into the old Irish coffee or Russian water bottle. We’ll be here watching movies, sitting on milk crates and kegs, whilst some crazy Irishman attempts his rendition “get lucky” and sipping on drinks guided to help the undecided and unknowing.
