First choice for houseware n electronics. Our family been customer for last 7yrs. Lovely staff at Palmerston north branch. Their finance side is lovely too. Very compassionate and understanding ofy change in situation.

I recently purchased a fridge freezer from the Palmy branch. A young lady called Brittany served me. Her product knowledge was immense. She showed me all the makes and models pointing out features and benefits of them all. She was awesome! I loved the Gold card discount! The store has an impressive array of stock with very helpful staff. Full marks.
These people sell products that are unfit for purpose or break quickly, then try to shirk their responsibilities under the Consumer Guarantees Act. They could learn from the Bunnings return customer service. I recommend Harvey Norman or Noel Leemings over this crowd any day. My mistake ever purchasing from them. Edit: after much back and forth, they finally agreed to refund me. It's now been over a week though, where is my refund? Cheque in the mail?
Generally, excellent service and product knowledge. Not pushy like other retail stores. The newer staff members have really lifted the customer experience which is great to see
Helpful team, delivery guys were really helpful & friendly & they even removed all the packaging & rubbish & took it away with them when I asked them too. They offer gold card deals for pensioners recently shopped there with the mil but they actually have pretty good prices compared to the bigger stores.
Purchased a washing machine today using my smiths city card for the first time. In and out in about 5 minutes. Previous experiences in this store have made us shop here almost exclusively for big items.
This Company do not want to honour their warranties, shop elsewhere !!!!
Friendly staff, acknowledged upon entry and offer of assistance. Store having Clearance sale on large variety of quality furnishings. Must visit if looking to upgrade. Daughter found her updated lounge, perfect just need to measure up to ensure perfect fit in lounge plus comes in a variety of fabrics with right or left chaise.
Brought a fridge from this store initial service was amazing. We had to buy the floor model as it was the only one in stock also had to pay full price. Was assured that it was mark free and would arrive nicely wrapped so it wasn't damaged. Arrived unwrapped and with scratch marks on it. Also looks like one of the doors isnt aligned. Emailed and have had no response.
