Shockingly Vulgar and Uncouth Attitude of a Retail Business Owner “Bachari”
On Wednesday 1st of Nov. 2017, I came to realize that the leather belt that I had bought earlier on from “Bachari”, the Shop at Broadway Avenue Palmerston North, for men’s wear, was overpriced. Much to my surprise, and contrarily to the norm of prices being usually taken down, the belt had another sticker of $69, placed just under the top sticker of $79. However, when considering that the same belt was being sold at a nearby shop for $59, I felt that I had been defrauded, and even more so, conned.
Having realized that, I re- visited the shop, asking for a refund, but what I encountered was absolutely contrarily to my expectations of the professionally excellent customer service manners that we New Zealanders pride ourselves on, especially in similar cases of refunds, or exchanges that are usually concluded with courteous smiles and polite apologies. Shockingly, the attitude that the shop owner manifested was anything but civilized, but only, vulgar and uncouth, to say the least of.
Primarily, he seemed to be seething with some increasingly impressible fury that he, on the face of it, failed to hide, or suppress, despite his ostensible endeavors.
Having given me the difference in price, and much to my surprise, he fretfully opened the door of the shop in a greatly disrespectful manner, asking me to leave, and never visit the shop again; that was associated with some abominable verbal insults that he showered me with, and which left me stunned for a few seconds.
Donkey, sheep, were some of the profanities - ostensibly culturally sourced, were some of such foul language that he bombarded me with. He was unnecessarily aggressive, hostile, and with such highly volatile attitude that lacked the least bits of even the mere basics of civilization.
As a client, I must regretfully admit that I made a great mistake visiting this shop, buying the belt. The owner seems to be darn infamous for having a similarly trending attitude that I came to know about him later on. He not only lacks the least bit of the classy and refined manners that any other businessman must and should inevitably have, but the price manipulation game that he seems to have mastered through repeated drilling makes his honesty quite questionable; the two tags that the belt in question had had were a solid proof attesting to that.
Moreover, in my previous purchases I did notice how edgy, jumpy, and fidgety his character could be. The man is extremely rude with a serious attitude problem. Factually, other shop owners around, also seem to be quite aware of his sick mentality, dishonesty, and pathetic character. The guy also lacks all credibility. I truly regret the amount of more than $300 that I had spent in two previous visits to his shop; a despicable, obnoxious, and deplorable character that seems to be satiated to the brim, with serious inferiority complexities. Insulting people could be one of his means for satisfying his critically low self-esteem.
