SkyHigh is the highest natural vantage point in Victoria and has views for miles as far as Melbourne and Port Philip Bay and beyond. Beautiful part of MELBOURNE. I agree with recent reviews. The staff closed an awesome part of the restaurant for no obvious reason ! I don’t recommend more than a coffee and wedges of chips. Our order was delayed and when I was s Trying to check for the order the reply was not professional. This place need training for good hospitality.

Visited on the afternoon of New Year's Eve. From the moment we arrived at the gate the afternoon was excellent. The staff were very helpful, polite and clearly very happy in their work. Parking was easy. We had an excellent lunch in the bistro which had a very pleasant environment. The food was good value and once again, the staff were very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyable.

As locals who were entertaining tourists who rarely visit Melbourne, we came to Sky High to enjoy dinner with the great view of Melbourne away from the city. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't maximize their location/view in the way I would as a restaurant owner myself. For me, hospitality is about giving the customer the most rewarding experience for their patronage. As for Sky High - wonderful view outside, but nowhere to sit for dinner while enjoying the view at the same time. With the amazing location they have access to providing for customers, we were shocked at how little they actually utilize that view for dinner. There was a huge section of the restaurant that had a stunning view of Melbourne with a nice breeze and semi-outdoor covering. But staff had closed off that part of the restaurant with the most stunning view of the valley (not talking about upper floor for events). When we asked why a restaurant with such an amazing view would close off the part of the restaurant that guests would enjoy most? Staff responded rudely and seemed upset that we asked the question. The only dining area we were allowed to sit in was a completely walled off section with very little access to the view. One of our waitresses was kind, the other was rude. Water came 10 minutes after sitting down, food about 45 minutes. Food was decent enough, although with the risotto being as bland as can be. All in all, we won't be coming back to Sky High nor will we recommend it to others, and nor will we be taking family and friends who visit from around the world. It's a shame really.

View is great but food is horrible . My girlfriend ordered the slow cooked for '8 hours' lamb. As soon as the plate came it stunk like burn plastic and the plate was so hot you could barely touch it. Considering the plate is lamb and salad there is no reason for the plate to be hot.. unless you microwaved the meat. There was nothing slow cooked about the meal. It was so tough that you could barely get the knife through the meat. The staff were lovely and we had no issues with them however do not come here if you want a good meal. Do come here is you want to pay a lot of money for very bad food.

The sky high mountain was very nice. It is great for a family outting with kids. They have a maze inside which is a fun entertainment. The maze is fairly big.
