Arrived to Boonah to get out of the city. Only pub open on the public holiday and so glad it was. Food was amazing and huge portion sizes. Very tasty and arrived quickly. Staff were very friendly and we were greeted with a smile. Atmosphere was great. Had that old style pub feel where everyone knew everyone. Thoroughly enjoy our time at the Boonah tavern and will definitely return.
The food was okay – not spectacular, but definitely satisfying. My partner enjoyed their burger, and I went for the schnitzel, which was a bit on the dry side. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. The staff were friendly, though the wait times were a bit longer than expected. All in all, it’s a decent place for a low-key meal with the family.
My wife and I called into the tavern for lunch, we were very happy with the staff friendly service the meals were good my wife commented that was the best steak sandwich she's had in a very long time the generous portions are hard to get through. We will be back, if you are travelling through Boonah looking for good food and drinks with friendly service don't go past .
Wow what a feed go for the 300gram Rump. The Cow filled out hole plate and it was cooked to perfection. Great meal and great service and cold beer.
