Well first off we ordered T-bone steak and pork chops from Bly to get to the counter and be told no t ones and no pork chops. So we ordered calamari and cheese and bacon bread as entree and fish mains. Well it all arrived together with no time to consume or enjoy or “limber” up for the mains. Music so loud that we couldn’t have conversations. Then the owner comes out trying to buy off my review with offers of free drinks, followed by every reason they were pumping the meals out do fast. Biggest day, too many customers, done over 300 plates etc.nUsed to be my go to in Boonah, changed hands and now I think I’m looking for a new go to place.nn** Now the other owner comes out and I am now barred from service in the Tavern because I’ve written such a terrible review. Well that’s a first for me and I am into my 7th decade.
Wow !!!! This is tavern is a best kept secret!!nThe food is unbelievably tasty. Compliments to chef. The best chips I've ever had. And their 300g Rump looks a lot bigger than any other pub I've been to...nYou guys are the best!! Keep up the good work !nI will definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone!
great staff, great beer options and great food. can’t go wrong with a $14 lunch special, one of the best steaks i’ve ever eaten and the dianne sauce is to die for !!! my favourite local pub when we go camping. thanks boonah tav, you guys are great
The meals are bloody beautiful, and the servings are huge!! My wife had a T Rex steak and I had a pterodactyl parmi!! Neither of us could finish our meals and brought them home for lunch tomorrow!! All of the staff were happy, and the service was perfect. We're definitely going back there a lot more!!
Arrived to Boonah to get out of the city. Only pub open on the public holiday and so glad it was. Food was amazing and huge portion sizes. Very tasty and arrived quickly. Staff were very friendly and we were greeted with a smile. Atmosphere was great. Had that old style pub feel where everyone knew everyone. Thoroughly enjoy our time at the Boonah tavern and will definitely return.
