Really good food with generous portions and fair prices.nnBurger patty was juicy even though it was thick. Buns were toasted nicely and the ingredients complimented each other extremely well. Highly recommended.nnPork Chops were fantastic, perfectly cooked and juicy, with 2 generous portions per order.nnWe ordered the rib steak and it was really tender and well cooked.nnFor dessert we had Apple and Rhubarb Crumble and it was really decent as well.nnThe 2 beers we ordered were fantastic, would buy again.nnService was quick and pleasant, toilets were clean.nnOverall we ordered many items and the cook quality and taste were all superb. Highly recommend this place and you will not be disappointed.
Highly recommend this Tavern not only for its hospitality but the meals are delicious. Had a rump steak and vegetables, all cooked to perfection. Well done Boonah Tavern
Well first off we ordered T-bone steak and pork chops from Bly to get to the counter and be told no t ones and no pork chops. So we ordered calamari and cheese and bacon bread as entree and fish mains. Well it all arrived together with no time to consume or enjoy or “limber” up for the mains. Music so loud that we couldn’t have conversations. Then the owner comes out trying to buy off my review with offers of free drinks, followed by every reason they were pumping the meals out do fast. Biggest day, too many customers, done over 300 plates etc.nUsed to be my go to in Boonah, changed hands and now I think I’m looking for a new go to place.nn** Now the other owner comes out and I am now barred from service in the Tavern because I’ve written such a terrible review. Well that’s a first for me and I am into my 7th decade.
If you want half a cow for $28 then this is the place! Great feed, cold beer & friendly service. See you when we're in town next. Cheers
Had a casual work meeting here in the dining room and was SHOCKED when a colleague's schnitzel came out just as I was having spring rolls as an entreé...and then my parmi arrived.nnHoly freakin' chook, it's bigger than the dinner plate that it comes on! The price wasn't even that crazy either. You get value for money here
