We went on almost a 2 hour drive from the Gold Coast to Boonah because I wanted to eat food that made me think I was on MasterChef.nFinding the restaurant was our biggest dilemma of the day. It's a very subdued shop front and I was literally standing in front of the door before I saw the name Blume written in white script.nOnce inside the converted area was relaxed with lovely pressed metal walls and ceilings painted white with simple timber tables and chairs. It looked like you could sit 24 for a meal.nWe sat by the window at a table for 4, away from aircon which I liked but would get warm if you have a need for AC.nWe were served promptly and ordered the full menu, we didn't come all the way for only part of the experience.nIt was wonderful. From beginning to end each serving was extremely tasty and just as good to look at.nConsensus was - it was the best meal ever eaten.
Blume Restaurant in Boonah is so good! The sourdough bread was outstanding, and the tomato consommé was light and full of depth. Delicious cheddar and zucchini pickle tartlet, The potato doughnuts with caviar were a perfect indulgence, while the Margra lamb rump was cooked to perfection. To finish, the mascarpone ice cream with apple granita and rhubarb was a refreshing and delicious treat. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Blume offers an approachable tasting menu that impresses with its exceptional quality and flavors. Highly recommended!
My husband, his son & I had Father’s Day lunch at Blume. It was amazing. I am a bit of a fussy eater but ate everything. Every course was so delicious. The presentation of each course was beautiful. This was my 4th time to Blume and won’t be the last.

Love the sour dough and definitely it took lot of effort for the result.nDefinitely worth flying 2 hours and 1 hour drive for it!
I spent an amazing evening here with my partner. The food was nothing short of a once in a lifetime experience and the wine pairing was sensational.nnMy partner doesn't drink and Blume offered a non alcoholic paring which we really appreciated. The wine and he non alcoholic paring were both extremely nice and went so well with the food.nnThe Tomato Consomme, sourdough bread and lamb were definitely the highlights
