Always exceptional. We're semi-regular diners at Blume and we always arrive with high expectations - which never fail to be exceeded. The current winter menu may yet be my favourite. Jack and the team delivered across the board. We are so lucky to have such an exceptional dining experience so close to home. As tends to happen, I forgot to photograph all courses yesterday because I just wanted to taste them - and even when I remembered, I may have started on them...

Every plate was thoughtful, innovative and beautifully crafted, resulting in an exquisite taste sensation.nService was professional and attentive without being overdone. Atmosphere was very enjoyable definitely not stuffy. Wine and drinks list had plenty of quality options, however I would love to see a few local South East Queensland options included, beer, spirits or wine even if just to showcase decades of advances.nNot inexpensive, but definitely represents great value , I highly recommend Blume, well worth the pleasant hour or so drive from Brisbane.
We went on almost a 2 hour drive from the Gold Coast to Boonah because I wanted to eat food that made me think I was on MasterChef.nFinding the restaurant was our biggest dilemma of the day. It's a very subdued shop front and I was literally standing in front of the door before I saw the name Blume written in white script.nOnce inside the converted area was relaxed with lovely pressed metal walls and ceilings painted white with simple timber tables and chairs. It looked like you could sit 24 for a meal.nWe sat by the window at a table for 4, away from aircon which I liked but would get warm if you have a need for AC.nWe were served promptly and ordered the full menu, we didn't come all the way for only part of the experience.nIt was wonderful. From beginning to end each serving was extremely tasty and just as good to look at.nConsensus was - it was the best meal ever eaten.
Blume restaurant excels in delivering an exceptional dining experience!nThe menu designed very inviting, and full of surprise throughout the journey.nThe chef’s discerning selection of premium ingredients, sourced locally, ensures a consistently high quality of dishes.nReally appreciated that the chef is not only made his table for the sake of creative presentation but also focus on the taste of the food itself. Love the sour dough and definitely it took lot of effort for the result.nDefinitely worth flying 2 hours and 1 hour drive for it!
An incredible food experience...one that is definitely worth making the trip to Boonah for. The flavours, techniques and composition of the dishes really showcases Jack and his team's skills. There were dishes we ate which will stay with us forever. An absolute must to add to any foodies itinerary.
