Silverton School truly fosters a supportive and encouraging community that has significantly enhanced my child's learning experience. My son loves the friendships he has made and genuinely looks forward to going to school every day.nnThe open-plan learning structure and skill-based groups for math and writing are highly effective, allowing each child to progress at their own level. After speaking with numerous past and present parents and educators, it’s clear that Silverton is regarded as one of the best schools in the area.nnI couldn't be happier with the excellent education and nurturing environment they provide!

Nevertheless, if there was an acronym to describe Silverton PS, it would be Sincerity, Curiosity, Honesty, Orderliness, Obedience, and Learning.nSilverton PS share certain qualities: a safe, nurturing environment, skilled and compassionate teachers, a challenging yet supportive academic program, and resources for diverse learning needs. Students' moral, creative, and intellectual growth is encouraged, which prepares them for a successful future.nDuring your years at Silverton PS, you'll develop new friendships, learn, and lay the foundation for your future.nIt encourages creativity with dedicated spaces like art and music rooms. So fortunate to have access this to amazing school. Unless you’ve experienced the benefits of the small group, flexible learning opportunities it’s hard to explain how beneficial it is to kids at both the high achieving and needing more support ends of the spectrum. The school values a holistic educational experience, offering so many different things for kids to engage with, no matter their interests. Our three daughters have enjoyed art, science, STEM, music, theatre production, chess tournaments, e-sports, looking after the school garden and chickens, so many chances to dance, sing, learn an instrument, alongside the standard curriculum of reading/writing/maths/language other than English. Couldn’t recommend Silverton more highly.
Our 3 kids have absolutely thrived at Silverton Primary School, as have their cousins and friends. The staff and teachers are supportive and always happy to work with parents to ensure a positive school experience.nStudents are supported to reach their potential across both academic and extracurricular activities. Our kids have taken up activities such as keyboard and guitar lessons, dance troupe, bands, helping out with the chooks, leadership positions, and so much more.nSilverton teaches kids to be independent thinkers and take ownership over their learning journey through programs like Discovery Time and Student Voice Groups. Academically, Silverton Primary School did an amazing job at getting our eldest son ready for high school. Students are grouped for maths workshops and literacy groups based on ability, which helps to cater for them at the level they are at.nThe school grounds are continuing to be upgraded, and facilities and equipment are well-maintained.nHighly recommend booking in a tour and seeing it for yourself.
We've loved our experience at this school- it's the most perfect rainbow of diversity which really reflects the area. My sports mad sons have loved developing their performing arts skills in singing and dancing for school events and productions- I think they are being offered a more broad range of subjects than what I got in high school! My youngest starts foundation next year, he can't wait! It's a place where you will be drawn in by the program, but you will stay because of the staff- next level group of educators.
