My experience at Chermside Sephora wasn't the greatest when it came to customer service as, as soon as I entered I knew what I was looking for and so the person greeting me sent me to the specific section and told me someone would be serving me shortly. After waiting for a long time and being ignored whilst customers were just stopping the staff members to help them in which they did, I became agitated as no one was still serving me. So I approached another staff member to ask them when I will be served and so she spoke through her microphone and said someone will be with me shortly AGAIN. After already waiting for a long time. Finally, Nathan came to the rescue who was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to products and colour matching. His service saved this review as I would've given 1 star if it wasn't for his professionalism, and great customer service. Also, the stock at Chermside is very limited which is so disappointing as I was ready to purchase many products however, they never had my specific shades not even to sample, they had none of the specific products I wanted and haven't restocked them since. Nathan was helpful enough to try and introduce alternative products however, being the only Sephora store in Brisbane, you would think they would have a decent amount of stock. I was then told that I can order everything I wanted online which beats the purpose of me even visiting the store and getting the full experience. Thank you Nathan for your great service! Sephora, please do better in training your staff with what customer service should be like as well as restock and have more products available to purchase in store.

I visited Sephora Chermside this evening after having quite a rough day where I’d been shopping for hours and not finding anything that I needed. I was greeted by Maddy who was friendly, positive and kind. They went above and beyond to make suggestions, show alternatives and help me find a product that I needed. As someone who works in retail and knows the limit of tasks that the front door team can feasibly execute, I was so surprised with how much effort they went to to help me. I hope that management congratulate their service and recognise them! If they see this review, thanks so much for making my day! :

This has been the most unprofessional and half arsed interaction I've ever had with a make-up company. I waited over 15 days for this "express" parcel with absolutely no help from the customer service team or any indication as to where my item actually was. I wasn't even offered compensation of a refund for the excess waisted shipping cost. I will never recommend this experience to my friends, family or vast clientele. It is of no surprise to me the real reason you've disconnected your customer service phone number. Do better.

I came in last week with absolutely no idea about make-up. I was looking for the basics as I have a couple events coming up next month, this absolutely lovely girl came up to me and helped me out SO much! Shay I think her name was. She explained the difference between foundation and concealer to me and even demonstrated how I could apply all the make-up I bought I have hooded eyes. She was such a huge help and really saved me from buying completely unnecessary products. What an amazing person!!

Visited the store on Thurs 23 Sep 2022 and all of the downlights in the store were flickering on purpose to the music. I get they were trying to create a "party" atmosphere, but my friend who I was shopping with has epilepsy and it is triggered by flickering lights. We had to leave the store after only a few minutes because she couldn't bear it. Please use normal lighting so that everyone feels like they are able to shop without feeling unwell.

Kind yet somewhat bashful young helped me select my Burberry foundation. Needless to say she applied cultivate attention to detail and was mega friendly. New on the job too so should could have fooled me. Often ppl pretend to know it all so a breath of fresh air was certainly more than welcome. Thanks chick!

Always has top notch customer service. Staff will come up to you in a very polite, unobtrusive way and float away equally as gracefully if they're not needed. Always have the best suggestions and don't try and upsell you in anyway.

Went in store looking for a few products to test out. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted warmly at the door and then taken care of by Ali. Ali was amazing and very attentive to what I was looking for in makeup products specifically foundation, contour and blush, definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased and comfortable. Such a reassuring presence. Couldn’t be more happy with their service!! Also a huge shoutout to Mayleigh who also helped me when I came round a second time with my primer and highlighter  - made sure to suggest the perfect one for my skin type and gave me very helpful pointers. Loved her energy and positivity. Will definitely be back &lt;3

Exceptional service provided by Raihan today! I wanted to find a new foundation something I find stressful to suit my mature aged skin and was lucky to have Raihan assist me. This clearly passionate and talented young make-up artist found me what looks like the perfect foundation Fenty and the colour match was spot on first go! I really appreciate the service provided and love that Sephora employ such skilled and knowledgeable artists.

A lovely young lady named Renee served me and was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her, as I did ask her a few questions about products and she was very knowledgeable about them. Renee also gave me samples of these products. I highly recommend Renee.
