The car park here is pretty poorly designed and the pricing structure is stupid. You can park for free for 3 hours but you need to valid your ticket doesn’t matter if you haven’t even spent anything. Why not just give 3 hour free parking without validation?
CLEARLY your signs about validating the ticket to get 3 hrs free parking are not obvious enough if everyone is missing them. I used the car park today, believing it was 3 hrs free, did not notice anything about validation and got charged $12 for about 30 mins parking. Seriously annoyed. What a scam. I can see the number of complaints yet you still believe your own story that there Is adequate signage. If so, why is everyone missing it? No car parks do this anymore, why are you if not to extort money from unsuspecting people? Fix the programming at your exit console so it applies the free charge under 3 hrs. Are you now going to claim your technology can’t do that??
Poor car park management, we have been charged for $12 even we parked less than 1 hr and validated the parking ticket. It has been happened 3 times to my family. Today- it happened again it was the 4th times in 2 months I designed to just call head office in front of the gate and let them to open the gate for me. Why I need to pay if I have validated the ticket and parked less than an hour? Sorry if I have blocked the exist gate for 5 mins but I will never pay any extra $ for this dodgy car park!
Went to Hoyts. Validated my ticket on level 1 machine beside lift after, but was still charged $12.15 to exit this Wilson carpark. 7pm tried pressing the operator assistance button and it rang out after 2 minutes with no one picking up. There was a queue of cars behind me and no operator so l had to pay to leave. Maybe the validation machine on level 1 is temperamental when scanning your ticket? Wilson please fix this and better yet refund me for this false free parking advertisement. Leave an after hours number or email address we can follow up with to get our refunds. l have my payment receipt.
This parking rips people for 2 reasons. The time in their machines are wrony compared to the actual time. I took this photo around 1:06pm but their machine is reporting the wrong time. Also, if you look at the receipt, we are just in time within the 3 hour limit despite their wrong times. I can prove anytime of the day that my claims are valid. I dont recommend using this car park. Never again!
Worst carpark in Australia. I was there less then 3 hours and had to cop $12 because the man on the intercom insisted there's a huge sign at the front saying you need to validate your ticket. Clearly not that obvious if everyone in the reviews is missing it. I couldn't back up and go get it validated because there were 4 cars behind me. Ridiculous
I only saw 3hrs free parking and didn’t notice the ticket needs validation. I paid 12 and tried to get it refunded online,but got rejected because I failed to validate the ticket. It was not possible to drive backwards and validate your ticket with other cars behind.
SCAM!!! Booked using the Wilson parking app, followed instruction to tap with Apple Pay try to entry. The machine insist giving me a ticket, no matter how you try to tap it with your phone. I even tried tapping with my credit card which binds to my Apple Pay. IT WON’T WORK!!! So you either stick with the 3 hour free parking with hidden validation machines through the mall or you have to pay the full price!!! EXTRA CHARGE if you book online or app, because it WON’T WORK!
3 hrs Free parking is super cool. Just need to validate thw tix at L1-3 using a machine outside the lift.
AVOID THIS CARPARK IF YOU ARE IN CHATSWOOD!!!!!!!!! Validated my ticket after being at the mandarin centre for 1.5 hour. Was charged $11.31 when I validated the ticket at the paystation. Their website and also the signs in the car park state 3 hours and under is free parking with a validated ticket. The upper level of the car park was one way with no exits or places to turn around. Took longer 15 minutes to park my 4wd and had to take a pram and baby out with that tiny narrow car park spaces. Very inconvenient and total waste of time. and at least 10 minutes to exit. No pedestrian walkways so its very unsafe with random mothers and prams weaving in between the cars and jumping out at you when you least expect it. Never been in a car park this poorly designed in my life. It was my first and would be the last time to use this carpark. The levels B2 has upper and lower level, how is someone with a pram, baby or a wheelchair going to access the lift while there’s no pedestrian walkway? It gave me anxiety while wheeling the pram. Stupid layout!!!
