Absolutely abhorrent design. 3 of the 4 times I have attempted to park in this spot have been bumper-to-bumper traffic due to them closing the parking spot due to no availability. Don’t even bother attempting to drive through the traffic to reach this location. Each time after finding parking elsewhere they have been open 10 minutes after being ‘full’. If you are continuously having to employ people to move the signs back and forth maybe consider renovation instead of slamming your head into the same brick wall.
Good parking rates for central Parramatta with plenty of space. There’s always staff available if you need help. The only thing I don’t understand is why some ground level parking spots are always closed maybe to manage traffic flow.
Well lit, easy to find parking in the heart of Parramatta. Ample parking spaces available. Older parking facility. Sometimes unclean. Needs better painting and signposting. Does not accept phone payments so need cash or credit cards. However you'll find banks in and around the corner to withdraw cash to pay. Pricing is very reasonable. Overall good experience.
Easy to park, well priced. Always seems to have spots. They reserve some spots below for now reason I can see though which is very annoying!
This was my first time using this car park, and I was a bit hesitant after reading reviews mentioning issues with unreadable tickets. Unfortunately, I did run into the same problem. Everything seemed fine at first, but when I went to pay before leaving, my ticket wouldn’t work. I tried again at the exit and still had no luck—my fears were coming true, and I felt like one of those Google reviews!nnI pressed the help button on the machine several times, but it didn’t work. Thankfully, I called the number on the box and spoke with a very helpful gentleman who guided me through reading the ticket numbers aloud. That did the trick—he was able to bring up the payment on the machine, and I was able to pay and exit without further issues.nnWhile the situation was stressful in the moment, the customer service I received was excellent and made the experience much better. Still, the unreadable ticket and faulty help button were frustrating. Hopefully, the system gets updated or maintained better going forward.
