Ordered a platter of sweets to present to singer / performer Najwa Karam and her entourage who were conducting their rehearsal at The Grand Vaudeville Condell Park ahead of her 2 big concerts in Sydney at the ICC. Made a call to Sea Sweet and spoke to Peter was informed by the staff at the store that he is the owner that i spoke to over the phone. I informed him of what we were wanting and who we are presenting the sweets to. He gave some suggestions of what would be nice to present. Whilst I was on the phone with him he added Elie the manager to one of the stores to the conversation and again we discussed in a 3 way conversation and settled on what sweets will be on the platter. I then went to the store at Greenacre and saw staff member Dana who had already been advised ahead of my arrival. Attached photos of the platter. Najwa and her entourage were presented with platter at the end of the rehearsal and they were very gracious. Just have to share the feedback from the many people who ate the sweets. They absolutely loved them and commented on how fresh they were. A couple of the band members said that it tasted just like home in Lebanon. Many of them tried every sweet variety on the platter and some even went back for second and third servings. The sweets went down a treat with a fenjen ahwie Lebanese coffee. Thank you Sea Sweet for this beautiful sweet platter. Could not fault anything as everything was perfect from initial phone call through to the guests having amazing sweets. The store is very impressive, very clean and displayed so well. Also a great selection and variety of traditional sweets to modernised sweets. A must try. God bless and thank you.
I usually go here every week because the service and quality are amazing. However, I made a $400 order today as I had guests over, and I was really disappointed.nnI specifically ordered the Znoud El Set early in the morning since they didn’t have any available, but when I picked up the order and got home, I found that the znoud were completely burnt. They looked unappealing, tasted stale and burnt, and weren’t even decorated with pistachios or the red leaves they usually use.nnWhen I called to let them know, I was told, “That’s how we usually make our znoud!” which was frustrating because I’ve ordered their znoud many times before and they’ve always been perfect.nnI hope this was just a one-off mistake, but for such a large order, I expected better quality and care.
SeaSweet is easily one of my favorite dessert places in Sydney. Their knefe is hands-down the best in the city, perfectly balanced, delicious, and always fresh.nTheir cakes are also incredible, especially the Black Forest, which is unbeatable.nnMy only issue is the customer service. The lady at the front counter never seems to smile and always looks very serious, which takes away from the warm vibe the shop could have. I hope this improves, because the quality of their desserts is truly outstanding.
I had a great experience at Sea Sweet Patisserie! The staff were very friendly and professional, especially Louridana, who greeted me warmly and took the time to explain everything clearly. When I requested writing directly on the cake, she kindly explained that they usually write on biscuits in case something goes wrong. I appreciated her honesty and care, and she still agreed to write on the cake exactly how I wanted — it turned out perfect!nnShe also shared a bit about her experience and studies, which showed how passionate and knowledgeable she is. The whole team seems very experienced and dedicated. I highly recommend this place for their excellent service and delicious cakes!
The place itself looks really nice. But the staff were honestly all over the place. When I went in to make a special order, they didn’t write my name clearly, they weren’t sure about the price, and it felt really disorganised. The next day I called to move my pickup time 1 hour earlier and they told me they had actually mixed up the day completely. I think the new staff really need better training and clearer systems.nThe cake itself was very nice and decorated beautifully though.
