Terrific food at reasonable prices - this is always the case when visiting the bakery. And the Owner always greets you with a smile. Recommended.
Very friendly staff, they know customers by name, they attended to spills without complaint. Good food which is reasonably priced and a nice sitting area.
Whenever we visit my sister in Alford's Point, we always love the yummy almond croissants and Portuguese Tarts from Sandy at the Cheryl's patisserie and Bakery. The almond croissants are the best we have tasted and become our go to when we are nearby just have to remember to pre-order because they sold out very quickly. As we walk into the shop, we feel like a valued customer with their personal touch, she often addresses her customer by name as she gets to know you. This is a quality that is hard to come by nowadays. Sandy and her staff are always very courteous and friendly.
My partner and I stopped in here this morning for the coffee and bacon and egg roll deal. We were both pleasantly surprised with how great the service was as well as the food and drinks. Our coffees came out warm and delicious, without that over roasted burnt taste. The bacon and egg roll was served on a burger bun, toasted to perfection on the bottom, but still soft ontop. The egg was just right and the sauce was delicious. If we are ever out that way again, we will be stopping in for sure! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast.
A local institution!! Cheryl and her beautiful breads, sweets, pies, and hot drinks have been consistently brilliant for at least 25 years. She's ever friendly, and offers quality that's hard to top. Yes, the price tag matches the caliber of the goods, but if you want cheap in all senses of the word I'd respectfully suggest the supermarket instead. This is a Patisserie, and it is wonderful. Oh and did I mention the coffee?, best in the village by a country mile.
