Don’t be the village idiot and walk past this shop without grabbing a pie. Beef burgundy and potato pies were ace, snag roll though I’d give a miss. Will be back to try more pies.
Some of the best pies you will find in Sydney, period. I've been eating here for years, their variety, taste and freshness is truly hard to match. Treat yourself to their Beef Burgundy, Beef and Mushroom some of my favourites or try one of their amazing flavours from a huge selection. They offer cold take home option and hot options eat srraightaway.
Went here today after reading the reviews & were sadly disappointed. The staff were lovely & they have an awesome range of flavours to choose from but that's about it. We tried the Bacon & Cheese, Supreme Chicken, Beef & Tomato and Vegetarian pies & found them all to be quite bland. For the price around $7 each we were expecting better. Not worth going out of your way for.
This place is real pie shop with class and variety. Every pie a meal unto itself, pricey but taste is what you're paying for. Paired with an awesome park just across the road which the kids will love. The Oatley Village Pie shop is an essential Oatley experience.

Best pie shop in NSW for variety and taste
Spent over $30 - beef Wellington- tasted days old, hard pastry, mushy,, almost a sloppy mess, NOTHING like beef Wellington, tasted strongly of liver 0/10 pastry disgusting! Sausage roll was sloppy, and tasteless 1/10 pastry was ok. Seafood was cheap and nasty tasting. Haven’t touched anything else , and won’t be!!! - the dog will be getting the rest, even a bit embarrassed to feed it to our dog, he has a refined palate, and is used to eating better!! Poor service from the man, hardly acknowledged us when we entered shop, but was OVERLY keen to take our money! Will never return, and will share this info on my social media page 50,000 plus ppl
Popped into this place for a feed... Outstanding pepper steak pie.
The Pies are beautiful and the service is great. The owner really takes a moment to chat with you and makes it feel like an “old school” pie shop. We love it!
