The booking was process was great, suggesting times and other accomodations. The boys sent around were great to talk to, but they are still on the clock with talking ... They did ask if they could have a smoke break, which is fine it was away from our stuff, but they are still on the clock while smoking ... They also tend to move things the fastest way, including sliding a wooden set of drawers, one person, on its side on the tail of the truck ... which leads to the next point. Before signing on the dotted line at the end of the day, please check every side of your furniture as Scotty's has no responsibilty after you sign. On our move 1 of the 2 guys had been restricted to light duties and was promised to be in larger teams, his ankle was very sore by the end of the day and as always he was still on the clock when resting his ankle. I suppose at the end of the long day of moving, check every piece of furniture before signing and before breaks it might be worth asking who is paying for the break.
We had a pretty big issue where I had booked the removalist a month earlier and come day of the booking, the removalsist were not there. After some trouble getting through on the phone numbers I had, I got a call back from Billy - he told me we didn't have a booking and that this was the first time it's happened and I am the first to admit, I lost it... but Billy took it in his stride and he got things sorted and I had removalists a couple hours later. They were phenomenal, I can not thank Billy and the boys enough for the unexpected work they put in that day it was such a stressful situation and it was handled professionally and rectified quickly. They did in fact earn this 5 star review and I am happy to recommend them to anyone.
I want to thank this company for a smooth professional transition in moving house. Nathan and Greg were terrific. Fast and friendly as the delivery guys. Office end were lovely when I made the booking .Thank you Leanne stafford to Ormeau
