I went to the Matraville Branch for a custom look for my Defender. Can't thank David and the team at SMBW enough for the outcome!!! Love your work gents! Fast, professional and flexible enough to fit with my busy lifestyle. Got the car back sooner than expected. FYI: before you make a decision to purchase parts get some advice from the guys at SMBW. They'll get OEM parts, it will be faster, and better priced + you'll be happier in the end. +1 Happy customer. Would definitely recommend them and will use their services again in the future.Services: Body & Trim
Long story short - very bad customer service and attitude. Minor repair took 2 weeks, which they advised a few days after they had my vehicle. They advised 2 weeks is standard. They don't care about customers, they are rude and they tell lies. Had used them years ago so was happy returning customer but the service and particularly attitude is so different now, I will never use them again. If I could give NO star rating I would! Don't be disappointed, go elsewhere. I regret not using a local repair shop.
Unfortunately this year I have had a few accidents and their service and actual smash repairs has been impeccable. Great communication and updates on the car and with the shortage of car parts at the moment fixed in 2 stages and was seamless as possible. Would highly recommendServices: Body & Trim
Had our Toyota brought here for repairs on a recommendation after another workshop wanted to write it off, and we could not be happier. The team helped sort us out with new parts, repairs and painting. Thanks again guys!

Took 4 months to fix my car. Short old man at the reception talks very rude loud voice. I don't recommend here. Warehouse aussie guy walk next my car so close and hit card box he was carrying to my side window but doesn't care attitude.
It is an excellent job for repairing the car but a tissue box kleenex missing from the car and the interior was a little bit dusty.
Amazing, there are no other words. My 19yr old Holden Statesman looks brand new. It was under threat of being written off after an accident but after some negotiations with them, my insurance and myself it has been repaired and looks FANTASTIC. We were kept in the loop as to where our car was in the repair stage at all times. Robert and David were courteous and more than helpful at all times. I can’t commend the business highly enough and if you saw my car before and after it’s restoration you would agree with me. My thanks to everyone that was involved with the repairs and I’m giving you 10 out of 10. If you are reading this and trying to decide if you should use this business to repair your vehicle please don’t hesitate as you won’t be disappointed with the result. David and the team at Scientific Motor Body Works Matraville have gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to help me when my car was in for repair. David in particular assisted me to make a very stressful situation a lot easier. From the insurance process to organising hire cars, getting home from the site with three car seats and a 3 year old and ensuring the work was completed in a timely manner. I have found the team to be efficient, professional and focused on getting the job completed quickly and at the highest standard. Nothing was to much trouble for them. While I was there I met the owner, Mick who assisted me as well. I can see why the staff have a high work ethic! I highly recommend Scientific Motor Body Works and give them a 10/10 in all aspects!
