We (husband, son, daughter and I) all have our hair done by Sassy and have had for many many many years. Never had a bad style cut or colour in all that time. Have always walked out the door loving what they've done.

They did a horrible job with my scalp bleach, at the start of the appt I was told my hair was in excellent condition for a blonde. I told them what salon brand (cruelty free) shampoo/ conditioner and my weekly treatment routine, which I have done for years as my hair is blonde I know it needs the best care. . I asked heaps of questions as not all salons get it right, too much exposure can snap hair and two little doesn't bleach all the pigment out. They assured me I would be happy and not to worry During my treatment they proceeded to slander any other product. It was getting annoying. I looked at my hair when I got home and my roots were yellow! My mum said it was bad I should contact them given I paid 193.00 So I contacted and I was polite and diplomatic I Asked if it could be fixed and was told ....the following "today they achieved a good result for you given the condition of your hair. Given you don't currently use a home care regime, we'd like to offer you a complimentary shampoo and conditioner" Firstly prior to them touching my hair I was told it was in excellent condition, and assured the result I wanted would be achieved.....yet It wasn't , And we're they not listening ...I had home care regime.....it just involved better products then what they carried! Another Salon had got a much better result only 5 weeks earlier, it was clearly something on their end! I did not want shampoo and conditioner I wanted it fixed! I then questioned there integrity, and blaming my hair when initially i was told it was in great nick is wrong, if the stylist felt I couldn't get what I wanted I should have been told so I could decide weather I wanted to pay 193.00 for yellow roots! the managers/owners first instinct was to block me and they did, they then phoned saying they would fix it. why block me then offer to fix? Feeling unnerved I got a second opinion. I was told, to fix it the hair it would need to be bleached again and double exposure could very well snap all my hair off if the person doesn't know what they are doing or they are using bad products. Given they didn't get it right the first time then attempted to dismiss it and blame my hair, and then block me from there fb page and messaging, I feared they could stuff it again, and then what? I'd have no hair.... I told them I was uncomfortable with them treating my hair given there initial conduct and reaction, and asked for a partial refund in an attempt to be fair. I was told no the only option available was for them to fix my hair. Which isn't true after speaking to consumer affairs there are several options available to remedy Including, refund, fixing it, or me attending another salon to fix and sassy hair pay, I didn't think asking for a partial refund was unfair, time was still spend on my head, but I didn't get what they told me I would. So they charged 193.00 for a horrible job and they would have seen it when I left.....didn't mention it .....happy to let horrible work represent them. Oh and In my opinion the brand they carry is rubbish, that $30.00 they charge to put a special treatment in your colour in my opinion is rubbish my hair took a month of my usual treatment to look and fell better after I let them touch it! They don't test on animals however there are (in My opinion) far better products as I have used these other products for years. The hairdressers here clearly try to sell products as I suspect they are working on a commission.....meaning they are not looking out for the clients interests just there own. And it's obvious the way they slander other products and make themselves sound life fools. They only way to get my 193.00 back or any of it I am told by consumer affairs is to take them to small claims court. So Yeh horrible experience at (in my opinion) a un professional salon with very little integrity! Blocking clients who politely ask them to fix crappy work! Your supposed to leave feeling like a million dollars, not scammed!
