Good discounts on Sandler brands including wide step. Large range of casual, formal and active footwear. I found a couple of styles I liked, but they didn't have my sizes. Significant discounts on retail prices.
Rating my experience at this store, not the shoes. Came in early on a weekend and went around DFO to a few shoe stores. I went into this Sandler store and the saleslady was serving an older couple so I waited patiently, looking around a bit while waiting. Once they had left, she ignored me like I wasn't there I stayed near the cash register which she returned to, so I was forced to approach her for help. She wasn't very friendly not a morning person I suppose? and when I eventually decided to buy the shoes slightly too big, she did suggest I wear some insoles to make them fit more snug. She then tried to upsell me their store insoles twice I already had them and could buy cheaper online despite me nicely but firmly telling her I was only buying the shoes. Pushy with the upselling. When I asked if I could return or exchange them should they not fit or some other reason, she made it clear that I could return it at another store, not that one. Should I return to South Wharf DFO most likely not, I will think twice before heading into this Sandler store.
Was really happy with my sandals until the sole split after one month. I contacted head office who told me to take them back to the store. The assistant did not believe they were only one month old, was terrible customer service. They refused a store credit or refund and I have to wait for another pair to be ordered in. I am still waiting for them to arrive. very poor form from such a large organisation. Will NEVER purchase again.
I wish I can give them 0 star. Worst experience of shopping. Very weak customer service in case of faulty. Shoes material isn't leather at all, after three times wearing the shoes it was ruined.
Rude manager. Fake leather shoes. Very poor customer support
