Lovely venue with great atmosphere and amazing food. There is a lovely outdoor seated area, an indoor area and a pet friendly area too! The food is great, really well presented and the steak tasting plate in particular is fantastic. A really great way to suss out whether you like grass or grain fed steak more! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and made the experience even better. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you’re ever here!
We have been to Samson's Paddock a handful of times for lunch/dinner and have loved it each and every time! Falling in love with the natural decor of the venue and the food .. to die for! The whisky and wine list is also a big winner for us! We loved it so much that we couldn't think of a more perfect place to get married! Abbie handled the majority of planning with us and was beyond helpful! Meeting with us on days off or before opening, to answer all the questions we had. Our wedding was a surprise to our guests and everyone ensured the secret was kept right up until the moment we surprised them! Mitch was the one running the day, along with his amazing team, and everything ran so perfectly! I have not stopped hearing about how amazed all of guests were by your team! Food was exceptional, as always! Drinks chosen in our package were enjoyed by all! So thank you to everyone at Samson's Paddock, for providing the most incredible service for our day and for every other visit we have day : We can't wait to be back! Georgia + Nate.
The service is exceptional. The food is well-thought out and presented beautifully. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and take pride in what they're serving, they're prompt, friendly, welcoming. We ordered the meat tasting board, the grass and grain-fed portions had gristle which should have been easily removed when trimming. As stud and commercial angus cattle producers we know good beef! We let the waitress know, just as a courtesy to the kitchen team and she was apologetic and sincere. The meat was cooked perfectly. Overall, a lovely experience. Thank you!
Long due review - went here for Valentine’s dinner as my partner loooves his whisky and meat. His standards for food are very high and he thankfully left impressed with a happy tummy. Service was also fantastic! Thanks for a lovely evening guys
Loved the relaxing ambience and food. The dining room was spacious and cozy. We had duck breast and wild boar ragout - and both were beautifully presented and so delicious.
Had a fantastic meal at Sampson’s Paddock during the week. The duck breast was out of this world delicious and can highly recommend the broccolini salad & wagyu ribs too. Lovely outdoor area with wood fire & heaters above each table. Can’t wait to come back & try more menu items!
Lovely service and delicious food. Next time I want a pot of that chimichurri type sauce that comes with the octopus, to dip everything in, and to take home with me to eat forever. Love.
This is a very special restaurant with amazing service and most delicious dishes, very chilled romantic vibe. Kind of don’t want to give high review cause I want this place to be my best kept secret for anytime I want to go out with my special loved ones but seriously from the time you enter to the time you leave, you would not find anything wrong/bad to comment about. Thank you for serving all the yummy dishes, cocktails and for amazing hospitality. Will be back again and again, no doubt.
Very nice, cute, tucked away, amazing food and wine, great service! Very happy with our meal!
Good atmosphere, fun to try 4 different types of steak on a platter. Quality of beef was not bad.
