Overall I was very underwhelmed by Canberra’s opshops due to high prices and very standard selection of goods but this store is my pick of the bunch. Prices were medium and if you look hard enough you probably could find a bargain. The lady on the register was delightful and very bubbly. I purchased a skirt for $7.00 which was a bit high, but considering I’d found nothing at every other store I payed up. There was a good selection of glassware, plenty of clothes and some furniture.
I love going here. Staff are cheerful and friendly, sometimes I feel like I visit more for the chats than the amazing bargains you can find here. The wonderful staff get to know you and will often let me know if something I might like has come in when I walk through the door. Really love this place.
Great staff, plenty of goods to choose from, exceptional poor parking especially when the "sales" Are on. Great place to go for a browse, you never know what treasures you might find.
Definitely more expensive now than in the past. Many household items are the same price, or more, than new items at Kmart or Aldi. Also, 2 very very old, grubby, yellowed and brittle-paged Patricia Cornwell novels that were worth no more than 50c were priced at $15 each until I suggested that this was a bit much. Seems that volunteers have the discretion to price things. Good for soft, stuffed toys for the dogs but even old towels and blankets for them were priced too high - I was able to get new towels for them at Kmart for the same price.
A great op shop, reasonable prices on items. A nice range of glassware and antiques. Overall, a great visit.
The manager is rude and grumpy. Disrespectful to her staff in front of customers! Shame on you! We were witness to this today when staff were serving an elderly lady to which the manager rudely spoke to the staff. Not good salvos!
Used to have a great vibe,must have changed management,friendly staff and manager no longer there,place half empty.
