My husband and I found ourselves unable to fully look after ourselves and decided to move to AUSTRALIA to live with our younger son and his family. The two gentlemen Clive & Derek who collect donations were our saviours as they regularly called us up re our donations Lot of books& puzzles etcThey both impressed us with their willingness and efficiency, both were great ambassadors and deserve our thanks. They were a joy to meet.

I'm a long time repeat customer. I look at all the sections and marvel at what cool things you can find. When I usually need something, it turns up in time. However, I recently had a distressing encounter at this thrift store when a man intentionally bumped into me, making unwanted contact. Despite my initial hesitation to report it, the staff's exceptional response reassured me. They promptly addressed the issue, viewing security footage and documenting the incident seriously. Their compassion extended to providing a safe space, refreshments, and even an escort to my car. This incident hasn't tainted my positive experiences at this store, thanks to their supportive and understanding team. Beyond the fantastic array of affordable items, the staff's commitment to customer well-being sets this store apart. Highly recommended for both the finds and outstanding service. Thanks again for those who assisted me today, you made a huge difference and I will return thanks to you.

Not as good as it used to be now there's a new manager. They don't sell electrical items anymore. The prices have gone up. The changing rooms are dirty. It's harder to find clothes as they are now divided into colour sections and there isn't as much stock out. And they no longer sell the great variety of items in the craft area. The staff are really lovely and the store is well set out. But, more often than not, I walk out empty handed.  Such a shame because it used to be the best op-shop in Palmerston North.

Staff here we incredibly rude to my children and I. My children were told off for playing with toys they were choosing to buy before we even had a chance to clean up after ourselves, and blamed for other messes they didn’t even create. There are better and friendlier second hand stores in town.

I do love this store and I like the changes they've made. Sometimes it would be helpful when queues are long to have 1 other person serving. I know you may not have people available though. I always come out with great bargains.
