Absolutely amazing, best Sals I have been to. The garlic knots here are incredible, not sure what they do to them but they are delicious. The pizza was put together really well, and tasted delicious as always. Staff were very friendly and made the order really quick, despite it being a Friday night.
Sal's Manukau produces boss pizzas, exactly what you want and expect from the New York style pizza. We tried the new flavour- 100 pepperoni black garlic, the cheesy umami spicy goodness is a winner. Cheers team, always worth the visit.

Pretty damn close to a New York pizza! Was only here to grab a quick bite and left full, satisfied, pleasantly surprised.
It’s a rare occasion when we get sals pizza they are exactly as they are described New York style Massiveee. Garlic knots are bomb. It does depend Whos on though as 1x night our pizzas were perfect just the right amount of browning on the tops crispiness on the bottom & the next night the bottom was done fine but the top of the pizzas was underdone it showed in the garlic knots as well. Every experience is different so try it if you haven’t already.
Finally found a good pizza place and an authentic NY pizza! We ordered the usual cheese and pepperoni half and half pizza — and both ate just mouthwatering. We also had the buffalo wings but wasn’t impressed at all — expensive and not delish. I will not order the wings again, but will surely be back for other flavours of pizza. UPDATED: If you’re after an authentic New York style pizza, Sal’s is the best place to be. This is my third time with them. Their pizza is huge and almost all flavours are tasty. I will definitely come back to try other flavours. Other than that, forget about the rest on their menu like the wings and all — small servings and pricey. If I didn’t order any side dishes i might give Sal’s 5/5.
Extremely bland - not new York, more like New Lynn !! First time here, prompt, efficient service I was the only customer. The "pizza" does not have any taste of cheese, odd seeing it is a cheese pizza! The knots are overpriced, doughy mouthfuls of blandness, zero taste, not the cheesy overload you may imagine. What is it with pizza in N.Z that it all comes out like a cheap South Auckland bakery pizza bread - 90% bread, 10% topping??? And $3.50 for a can of Coke??!! Look at the underside of the slice - overcooked - if it was naan bread you would enjoy a little crispy burnt bit, not on pizza though. Thin, with zero taste - branch was clean however, and looks cool. Should be 2/5. but I'm in a good mood oddly. Left a mediocre taste in my mouth, much like my last rship, I'll amend the review if I go back, and the product has improved. No problem with the staff.
