Food was tasty. By the day I shopped, 21/Mar/2022 they did not offer dining in. Just next to Thirsty Liquor. Some curries are displayed, so u may point it and order. Else you have the option to order online or over the phone. But there comes a Surcharge on top of ur due value which I did not want to pay but had to. I dnt know the application of the surcharge bcz most of the instances I have shopped, did not apply such on me. There were couple of places I experienced that around. Onsite parking available for the shopping complex. Soft drinks are available as usual plus some custom made drinks as well as mango lassi. Customer service was fair enough.
Lamb biryani was below average with smell in the meat. Chicken biryani was little better but was over all disappointed in the whole experience. The person at reception also just kept talking on the phone rather than listening to us.Food: 3/5
We have always loved the food here, especially the chicken dum biryani, less oil and tasty, have got food catered for my baby shower and all guests loved it, it's our go to go place for take away all the time
This dish is called Talawa gosht fried muttonsounds more like fried bones as there was no meat in it such a worst experience will never go to the take away again and if there is Reddy sir who is the boss of restaurant then buy it if you find a staff named "Parwez or hafeez abdul" please don't do the buying shared pictures check for it
One of the very few places in Auckland whose Biryani is still decent. Plus point is they are not shy on the meat. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
I don't know why people running behind bars g brand like paradise...when they can get better food and quantity in reasonable price. Even more Authentic Hydrabadi food... Can any one tell me Hydrabadi Biriyani is not complete with out salan... Paradise stop giving salan long time back but this guys gives salan and Raita....if you want more salan they provide with smile.....please guys come and try at least once I am very much sure you will become regular custtomer of this outlet.
Me and my friends decided to eat some good indian desi food. So we went to the southern spice dine-in.We ordered jalfarezi chicken, dum biryani, naan, chicken 65 and tandoori chicken. Food was soo yummy, quantity was good enough to fill your desi food cravings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But naan was not that good. They should must improve thier naan. They serve halal. Thank you.
Service was good. Food came out quite fast as well. Price is reasonable. Curry was probably a bit too oily, and too salty for my taste tho. Not sure if its meant to be that way. Biryani isn't exactly fitting our palates either. Just a different style. Else, worth a try.
I have been to this place many times for takeaways and inspite of giving them sufficient time they have always made me wait. Sometimes nobody picks up the phone as the person at the counter keeps on shuffling between kitchen and counter. The food though is tasty and reasonably priced. If only they could improve their service this place this place is excellent value for money.
Worst service I have every experienced. I waited for 20 minutes to be served, 1 couple was waiting for to be served after me as well. What happened was, the staff started serving the couple instead of me. When I asked, staff said it was phone order. If it was phone order, it should be ready before they jump into store. Even though they were ordering curries on the counter, while I was waiting. Stupid staff working there, Don't have sense of customer service. Store was full of smoke, there exhaust system was not working.
