A Noosa institution. The views are sublime. On my recent visit, cocktails were average and the flavours weren’t balanced. I’d love to see Sails work on this, as many other outlets on Hastings Street offer great cocktails. The kids meals were good, and include a scoop of ice cream in the price. The seasonal menu is unique, the current standout dishes are the Barramundi and Pork Belly. Staff were a little flighty at times and refills on our water and cocktails was slow or non existence. The menu prices are some of the highest in Noosa so you expect the dining experience to not just rely on the views. A few tweaks here and there will keep Sails on top of their game. Almost perfect, and I’ll always return when in town, but a couple of things could be improved on.

Great food, beautiful views and good service. They lose a star because and i quote when we wanted help is ordering a white Burgundy we were told the Manager is too busy. Wow! The wait staff were lovely but i wasn't going to risk spending over $150 on the Manager recommends this one but too busy to advise why. So we had by glass.

Food was pretty good, but service is not up to scratch. Very slow to acknowledge us on arrival. Not offered any black pepper etc. No coming to check for your order or after service while eating .

What an absolutely sensational experienced, arrived last minute of kitchen and welcomed with open arms. Then the big shock was to be served by one of the most wonderful people I have met working in a restaurant. Such fresh and exciting nature and had us all so excited for the menu and service. Georgia is an absolutely amazing asset to the business and everyone we met were just so nice. Georgia ypu smashed it, please never lose you energy and passion, it is very rare.

We have been to Sails regularly for the last decade, including a wedding & always considered Sails one of the best dinning experiences in Noosa. Unfortunately this was our worst. Two beers & a bottle of white wine, all were warm. We added ice to the ($70 X 2) wine after attempts to cool it failed - it was explained that it had come from their cellar later but 3m in an ice bucket on 32 degrees day isn’t going to happen quickly. 4 meals were ordered & appeared within less than 10m which suggests they were pre cooked. They were kinda bland. Two other beers were ordered (as the preferred ones weren’t cold), & were placed in an ice bucket, ok cold then. When paying the bill via CC I was reminded that a tip was not incl in the bill & was explained how to give a tip using the machine. I declined. No one asked how our meal was, nor acknowledged us leaving. Wish we’d gone to Rickys, Seasons - service friendly & beer/wine def cold there! Can’t rely just on fantastic views - we live here!
