This would have to be the “WORST MEXICAN” ever. Sent back the tacos twice and they still came out cold, insipid and unappealing. They just wrap some chicken up in a tortilla and pop it in the microwave. No taste, no seasoning, Kraft cheese thrown on top....... saying it was terrible is an understatement. However, the service recovery was very good and our waitperson was very understanding.......we would never recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn’t even give it 1 star.

My wife and I have been going to Monty’s in Hastings Street Noosa for over twenty years. Before that we used to go to the original one in Burleigh Heads then Labrador on the Gold Coast and some in Brisbane. Monty’s in Hastings Street Noosa would have to be the best of them all. Over that time my wife and I have had just about all the dishes on the menu. My favourite is the number 26 the Texan done the old way with beans and rice. My wife just loves there salads Ect., and she thinks the margaritas are the best ever. They now even have a professional barman. But I think Adam still makes the best one shaken. What I think is that there competition has been writing up bad reviews or they just don’t have a clue what is top end. Cheers Tim and Denise Noonan.

This was REALLY sub par mexican food. The nachos were basically doritos and I honestly don't know what to make of the tacos...it was like bland meat on pita bread.

Not sure where the 5 star ratings are from, possibly another restaurant or fake. Mexican food is so easy to cook and almost as comforting as Italian food, but this place manages to mess it up on every aspect. Drinks (sangria and margarita) were bad as if a 4 year old made them. I had the Mexican chicken, it was awful, dry, microwave heated, and the sauce on top was horrible. The beans mash next to it looked like prison food. My wife had the beef in rice which was very bad too. The only dishes they managed to not mess up where the nachos (factory made, nothing to mess up) and the guacamole, which again tasted like 4 year old made it, but mashed avocado is very hard to ruin. Service was mostly ok until I asked for water the waitress said she can’t get it now... Avoid at all costs!!!

It was OK, I didn't like the chili con carne, but the rest was quite good. I like they serve salad with tacos and I really like the sangria jug.
