Kid-friendly? That's laughable
This morning my 3 year old daughter and I were in the street when she desperately needed a toilet (or she'd wet herself) so I ducked into Saigon Hut. There was only 1 customer given it was 10:30am. After using the toilet I was told that it is not a public toilet and the impression was that we shouldn't have used it. Says A LOT about the attitude of staff towards children. Get with the times! Next time I'll have her use the gutter out front so as not to 'offend' you. Horrible. Will never eat here

I had some takeaway there. I received the takeaway within a few minutes on a Sunday midday. We had some lemon grass chicken on rice and stirred fried chicken with ginger and shallots. They seem to be authentic.

This unassuming local restaurant offers honest and rich Vietnamese food at a great price. Their lunch menu represents great value, with many meals being under $11. The only thing letting it down is that there is a bit of a damp smell in the restaurant, the outdoor eating area is not made good use of during the summer, and they slug you for eftpos purchases under $25, which I think is annoying in this day and age! Here is my fave, the seafood Tom Yum. Delicious!

Although customer service was great (friendly and prompt), unfortunately the food served was not of similar calibre. My Pad Thai really didn't resemble Pad Thai - predominantly sliced onion and thick noodles. The signature Salt and Pepper Fish dish contained tasteless shop bought frozen fish bites.

Honest Vietnamese cuisine. The Pho was a heady combination of sweet spice and meaty bone broth. As a lunch special it was value at $10 and a decent serve. Would happily return.
