Story

4 St Georges Road, Caulfield RSL Elsternwick, is the modern name for the Caulfield Sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers & Sailors Imperial League of Australia. The League was formed by men who returned to Australia from the The War(WW1) to find a Government that cared less about their welfare than they ought to. The Caulfield club consisted of local men as well as many who were patients at the nearby Military Hospital, suffering from long term wounds and debilitating wounds. For this reason it had a membership of men from all parts of Australia.

To provide support to former Service members of the Defence forces, their families and decendants.

Been going there for years but lately it has changed. The wine i was told i had to have because it was already opened day before yesterday, (i know would have turned acidic ), i said i would like a fresh bottle. It is my favourite wine. I was told they couldn't open a fresh bottle although there was very little left in the bottle, so i had to settle for something else. I stopped eating there last Nov due to the chef they had. 3 of us couldn't eat the meal. The manager at that time said he would get back to me & didn't..i was told yesterday he had left.

Good food, good drink , good staff and We really love small fries. And also the risotto (old recipe, also small fried not the new one)

No details menu about the ingredients!! I took Moroccan Prawn pasta with vege, but they added sausage over there.
