Can be a bit difficult to find a park but there is a parking ot around the corners. Nice entrance with both outdoor and indoor seating. No cabinet ready made food but fresh sandwiches made to order. Menu of breakfast and some Cafe style foods. Loaded wedges were good. Burger and chips a good size. Fruit covered pancakes were enjoyed. Omelette left a bit to be desired. Friendly service. A bit of a wait due to our number being allocated wrong and not brought our food or drinks til we went in search of it as they couldn't find us. Seemed like a nice place but not sure about returning. Might try again.
Stayed Friday to Sunday in Gizzy and had breakfast on Saturday. Eggs benedict was so nice and a nice fillet slice of Salmon, unlike most places that use the flat packed stuff from the super market. Enjoyed it so much went back on Sunday with Family. Service top notch with pleasant staff to match. Wish we had this in Hastings:

The R.S.A has had a fresh coat of paint and is slowly getting its own charm back. Great venue if you need a bar, a dance floor, and food/catering options.
I love the kids play area, the coffee is always perfect but the baked goods can be a hit and miss. Last time I went, the scone had way too much baking soda and I couldn't finish it. On the other hand, my friend ordered a slice and it was beautiful.

The food and atmosphere were lovely, and pricing was good for what we had.
I love how this place commemorates the history and lives of brave soldiers! But my experience with hospitality was not good. Waited way too long for only chips and they forgot my ordered drink. Pretty slack service and won't be going back.
Nice food went for breakfast spoiled for choice friendly staff.
Yummy food great coffee, cheerful staff.
