This is an old school cheap Chinese smorgasbord or takeaway. The selection is limited, the decor is 80's, but we found the food was great value, it was popular and just the kind of "cheap-eats" we like on holiday. Not sure we would go every week, but we will be back! p.s. apologies for the photos. Much nicer than they would suggest.
Spent $39 for 3 takeaways. The chicken fried noodles is really good , the sweet and sour pork is good and the beef fried rice is okay. Was told that we had to wait about 40 minutes before we ordered which is really nice of them to inform us in advance. Will definitely buy from them again if we're around the area in future. Generous servings! Fantastic for families on a budget.

Super guttered waiting in line for ages as wanted to get smorgasbord as it was advertised for Friday night been looking forward all day to sit down and eat my meal the lady on the counter said large or small well that's not a smorgasbord I used to get these alot but not anymore. Won't be returning. Lovely food and nice people but praps you need to look up the definition of smorgasbord
Best place around Timaru for a smorgasbord wjth all you could eat or takeaway. So sad to see them go and shut down. Hope to see them again. Thankyou for all the lovely dinners and lunches I've shared with friends and family for over 20 years. Each one wonderful and will really miss going there. Your part of the heart of Timaru. Wish you all much blessings for the future.
Good value price. I am not much happy for the taste. They can improve, so giving 4 star.
Got the 2-3 person banquet $23 each Just incredible 4 mains, soup, desert and tea/coffee All cooked beautifully. Couldnt possible eat it all.Would highly recommend, definitely will be stopping in again on my next time through.
We went for the chinese buffet. For $24 the range was adequate and the food was of a high standard. The vegetables we fresh well cooked and tasty. Good value for money.
For $13 for a tasty meal, where can you go wrong, consistently good. Not a dining experience but a good cheap lunch. Don't be put off by the doggy appearance be going there for years nothing changes.
It is still very popular but I found the food to dine in expensive. All children 8dollars even if they are 3 and only eat noodles.
