The Royal Arcade is always a wonderful place for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat. It's nice to know that such a rich piece of Melbourne (and in turn Australia's) history has been preserved for future generations of locals and tourists personally I believe that these cute and historic gems, mixed with the beauty of their modern neighbours are what make Melbourne such a wonderfully vibrant and exciting city.

By far my favourite arcade in Melbourne. I adore the wrought iron fixtures, the beautiful architecture and the Gog and Magog figures beside the clock. A lovely mix of shops as well. Such a wonderful piece of Melbourne's history.

Each time I visit Melbourne I walk these arcades and Lane ways and always find something different and yummy! This time a jewellery store with a sale on pearl earrings - perfect!

A charming, historic shopping place. It has shops that compliment each other and give the arcade a unique historic vibe. It has eateries that make the shopping much more enjoyable. The only gripe I have is Royal Arcade is not wheelchair accessible. Everyone deserves to feel the history of the arcade. The Royal Arcade is what gives Melbourne e her vibes.
