Bourke Street Mall – A Vibrant Night in MelbournennI recently had an unforgettable night exploring Bourke Street Mall, and if you’re planning to visit Melbourne, this spot is a must. My friend and I kicked off our adventure in Chinatown, then made our way to Bourke Street Mall around 9:13 PM on a Saturday. The atmosphere was buzzing – the trams were packed, and the streets were filled with people. It felt like we were at the heart of the city.nnThe best way to experience Bourke Street Mall is on foot. The wide pedestrian walkways make it easy to explore and take in the sights. The energy here is unmatched – from the street performers to the late-night dancers, there’s always something happening. We also grabbed a bite at Hungry Jack’s along the way, enjoying the city’s 24-hour vibe.nnWe visited several clubs that night, including Whitehart Club and Carlton Club, hopping from one to the next. It was a fun way to experience Melbourne’s nightlife. Despite the crowd, the city felt safe and smooth, with people just enjoying their weekend. Yes, we saw a few fights and some people smoking in corners, but it didn’t distract from the overall experience.nnOne thing that really stood out was how Melbourne never sleeps. People were out cycling, walking, and just enjoying the night – the energy was incredible. If you’re visiting, definitely take the time to walk around Bourke Street Mall and check out the nearby Chinatown. You’ll get a real feel for the city’s pulse, and it’s an experience you won’t forget.
Great place for shopping. In Christmas and new year its having amazing lighting and theme display being loved by kids.
Definitely one of the best markets I’ve ever been to. I tried a hot chocolate from one the shops, and it was one of, if not the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The overall experience of the market was excellent and definitely worth travelling to. There is also a large mall within close proximity to the market, with many different shops. The market was very clean and well-kept, as every shop looked functional and fully operational.
It is a great open air mall. It is where myer and all those shops are. It can get very busy and noisy at Christmas time, when myer puts up the Christmas windows, they are very popular.
Broke street mall is vibrant, busy bustling site. A good mix of shops and new and old buildings.nTrams go through the mall in steady procession. Also emergency vehicles use the team lanes to take short cuts through the city.nThere was an excellent busker named Cam Nicholson who performed an amazing show with his violin and acustica music accompanying him. A great entertainer
