The reviews are spot on as this place serves amazing baked goods. A must try is the scallop pie. It is absurdly good. The staff were very friendly to us. Carl, the resident oven guy, invited us back to have a look at the 100+ year old stone oven. It was worth the drive.

Great setting in a gorgeous old building and with outside tables under a big old oak. We didn't have a very pleasant experience though. No prices are up so you don't know what stuff cost for take-aways. The menu showed salad included then they charged extra for it. Not friendly in handling complaints either. The cafe a few doors to the right was a much more pleasant experience.

Off road parking lovely tree lined street. Eating inside, covered area outside and area by road under trees. County style bakery with bread, pies, sweet cakes and vanilla slice quoted to be "The World's Greatest!" Scallop pie a must!

Delish and Fresh food, friendly staff. Even though they were exceptionally busy, staff were efficient and friendly. Food was fresh and very tasty. Was nice to have a salad with my pie!! Tip: Leave room for dessert. The vanilla slice and lemon tart are to die for

Great place to stop between Launceston/Devenport to Hobart. Lovely sandwiches and amazing vanilla slice and pecan tart. A little pricey (coffee is $4.50 or $5+ for large) but lovely service.
