What a top spot Ross is and a meal at this cafe will make your visit even more memorable. Beautifully presented food. Delicious coffee and super friendly staff to boot. What else can you ask for.

Coffee well worth the stop. A relaxing place to have a break. Outdoor seating a bonus

Dined in to eat and had the rissoles with veg .. The rissoles on the plate were just a piled up bit if mince meat that had lost there shape.. Was smothered in dark gravy.. The gravy should have been put in a small pot to add yourself.. It looked like a pool of gravy on a plate.. Was disgusting to look at and made me quite sick looked like a pile of slop.. And there mashed potato is clearly the dry processed potato and not fresh potato.. Then my last visit i had scrambled eggs which had no taste was like rubber and just another sad looking meal on a plate.. The staff seem to be always in a mad rush which makes them look hideous.. There coffee's always are tepid to drink.. Hot coffees is what most people want .. They need to slow down and relax. One more whinge is they always forget to bring cutlery to the tables with the meals , So your having to get up and queue to ask for cutlery.. while the meals getting cold on the table.. I often wonder how long all those pastry foods have been sitting in the cabinets for as they look quite dry..

Fantastic country bakery at the neautifulvand historic town of Ross located on the 41S meridian. The bakery cafe offers a brilliant range of baked goods including sweet and savoury. The dining area is comfortable and relaxed with a sense of romantic cosyness. One of the most redeaming features of this business is the staff/owners. They are full of hospitable welcome and go out of their way to make your visit memorable. I highly recommend a detour from the Midland Highway into Ross and visit Bakery 31...I'm sure you will truly enjoy

Salty small pasty should come with free bottle of water to wash it away. $5.50 plus 30c for sauce. Dont be fooled, the scallop pies are not made here, just reheated.
