Got some take away breakfast from Banjo bakery and cafe riverside. Plenty of options for food which is great if you don’t really know what you want. Some really healthy looking sandwiches too so would be good for a takeaway lunch. Pie and muffin was good. Pie was a little small but not too bad. All reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking outside shopping centre. Very friendly staff
I've lived in the area for years and almost every time I visit this banjos it takes about ten minutes to get served. Most of the time I end up walking out because I'm on my way to work or have somewhere to be. The staff don't even acknowledge you and just stay in the back and don't make any eye contact. When they eventually serve you there is no urgency even with ten plus people waiting. They then serve people in random orders because they have no idea who got there in what order as they weren't paying attention. Usually I would never leave anywhere a bad review but this is just ridiculous.
What is the go with Banjo's Riverside? The staff are more interested in cleaning out cabinets than serving customers! Not the first time I’ve walked away due to being ignored. Is friendly & prompt customer service too much to ask from my local bakery?
The spinach and ricotta rolls were the best I have ever had! So good I had three and a half my friend had the other half but I didn’t really want to share!
Food, Coffee and Service is fine, but the seats, tables and floor is dirty
