Always good value. Service is good, except they bring your food to the table but you have to go and get yr coffee. Why they can't combine them and bring both is beyond me. Especially as the customers are mostly retired. Two stars off for that! Excellent food and mediochre coffee, but what you'd expect at a supermarket complex.
Stopped by for shopping and tried this jj's bakery. So many choices for sweet lover.
Good quality and price, it’s nice and clean. Almond croissant was really good, I ordered cappuccino in Mug. In total it’s great. Many many cakes because it’s actually bakery. Different types of drinks.
Paid for vanilla slice there was 2 in window girl said I'll bring it over, I finished my coffee and then I went up and asked where it was and they sold to someone else! Not impressed!!
Beautiful! Generous variety of cakes and pastries. The sausage rolls were the best I’ve ever had… The pastry was to die for and the filling was too. We were served by a lovely Asian women, she was great despite having a lots of preferences on my coffee, which was great too. Great price. Most staff was great.
As a regular, I love the berry muffins. About 100 per year for several years now . Awesome value, although they were better before they added chocolate. Got to say muffin today 12/4/2020 at Longford, was the best ever. The coffee is always good, and the service today, while also always good, was excellent friendly, polite and efficient. Can't ask for better.
We both have been a fan of this bakery for literally years, however our recent encounter has left us really disappointed. Walked in as usual and as this has never been a restaurant only a bakery sat down at an available table. We were greeted by a very rude waitress named Ellie who told us next time to stand and wait for her direction! We are in our 50s and spoken to like we were naughty 12 year olds! There was no sign or area designated for this order that was rudely insisted upon us. If we had done something blatantly wrong I could understand however this was just disgusting customer service which I'm so glad this incompetent employee doesn't work with me. Needless to say we walked out.
Sorry JJ’s, the worst family Egg & Bacon pie I have ever purchases. I can’t say eaten because I couldn’t eat it. A pie I couldn’t even get out of the foil tray because it hadn’t been greesed before the pastry went into it and then when I managed to get the cut slices out with no pastry attached to the pie it was a sloppy mess of to much diced bacon bits and watery egg mixture! And capsicum …….capsicum does not go into an egg and bacon pie! I purchase quite regularly from your store Longford and this is the first time buying what I thought was going to be an easy dinner in a family sized pie! Won’t make that mistake again.
Visited on a Sunday. Appeared to be only 4 junior staff on duty. Had to stand in line for a considerable length of time to place order. Ordered 2 Cappucinos. 1 standard and one half strength light. Asked for them to be extra hot. Waited considerable time again and when summoned had to ask which was which and got an inaudible response. Asked again and got a dirty look until I asked again and got a very abrupt response. Found the coffees to be luke warm. Won't go back and won't recommend.
Delicious food and coffee would come back again as a being a tourist
