Overall 3.5/5nnI had a chunky beef pie, which was good. It's not the best I've had as it was missing more chunky beef and a good thick gravy. The gravy was watery and not the best. 3/5nnMy sausage roll was a winner. 5/5nnMy partner had a mushroom and truffle pie, which was really tasty, although for me, the truffle was too strong. 4/5nnThe salad roll was just ok, apparently. Not the best. The bun was dry. 2/5nnWe shared a vanilla slice with raspberry jam, and this was good, although I only had a small taste. 3.5/5nnMaybe I had higher expectations given all the previous awards this place has won?
I loved the mushroom and truffle pie. Won pie of the year in Australia 2022. Can see why. Yummmm
I could not recommend this place more! Fantastic staff and the most delicious pies! Great coffees and I got a few of the sweet treats takeaway that were just delightful.
We drove 2 hours to eat here, that’s self explanatory for the food. Creamy mushroom truffle is so good, even though I don’t like mushrooms I love that pie.nOnly down side is the sign. Can you keep your signs simple not bright green letters maybe it looks weird lolnAnyhow 5 star place, best pie for me
This place won pie of the year 21 and 22. I tried the award winning pie country lamb and rosemary, and it didn't disappoint. Pie was the right temperature and had good chucks meat in it that just fell apart when you bite into it. Give it a try i don't think you will be disappointed
