We hadn’t booked in advance, but the staff effortlessly hosted me and 9 other guests for my 28th birthday. We sat in the main hall and it was genuinely a magical evening. The staff were divine, even bringing me out an unprompted cake and candle. The food was excellent, ‘best Parma I’ve ever had’ as quoted by a true inner north rascal who has the authority to make such a claim. Everything was perfect, the staff looked after us so well and we left promising ourselves to return soon.nnThank you Vue Grand
Nice hotel. Amazing and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious. There is no parking in the hotel but enough around the hotel. There are plenty of food options in the area, but most of them close around 9 pm. We visited them before the public holiday. They were kind enough to keep the in-house hotel open for the guests on Sunday night.
Yesterday, loving the visual of this beautiful old building, my husband and I chose it to take a relative who is visiting from overseas, to lunch. Unfortunately we were shockingly disappointed and embarrassed. The only description suitable for our menu choice of lamb shank, which I’m sure our guest ate from impeccable politeness, was disgusting and the whole dining experience was saved only by a really sweet desert which fortunately almost disguised the taste and consistency of the main. Adding insult to injury, my husband told me, that the Gents toilet was the dirtiest he’d EVER encountered and he’s seven months from ninety years old. Thanks to the good Lord, for understanding relatives.
We had the most beautiful lunch for a special family get together. It was delightful, and we got to enjoy the view upstairs. We had a lovely day, and the food was delicious.nWe didn't stay so couldn't review the rooms.
Our experience at Vue Grand Hotel was exceptional.nnDespite booking last-minute on Easter Sunday, the staff provided excellent service. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a stylish and welcoming ambiance.nnHighly recommended for a comfortable stay.
