Saturday night dinner without a booking worked out well. Front room of the place was full, so we accepted a table out the back. This was perfectly fine because the staff set up the outdoor heating and took very good care of us. The ambience in the garden marquee was gentle and quiet, and more than warm enough. Food and drink were delicious, though food a little slow coming…they were busy…so we weren’t overly concerned, just sat back enjoying our wine and cocktails, which did come out quite promptly. We had the steak, the lamb shank and the prawns, as well as molten lave cake for dessert. Steak and lamb shank were prepared beautifully, prawns were tasty but could have done with a touch of extra seasoning. Molten lava cake was molten! Overall, a lovely experience, special shout-out to Jack for his service. Definitely recommend trying this place out.
We had a quick visit to Queenscliff and checked out this restaurant that's high rated. It was a perfect choice for us to went there for lunch. Foods were great, based on portion and taste. The salad was really fresh and perfect dressing, burger was huge, soft buns and juicy meat. Coffee was absolutely stunning. And services couldn't ask more for a better one!
We visited the restaurant during our trip to Queenscliff last year. We ate at 5pm so the restaurant was not busy. The food came out very quickly, especially the slow cooked lamb dish, yummyyy. The space is great.
Came in on ANZAC Day for dinner without a booking, but we were lucky to get a table outdoors near a heater. Service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Our steaks were on special and were great value, but slightly overdone. The desserts were good and topped off a lovely dinner.
I recently visited the Shelter Shed with a group of friends and enjoyed an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the meal was so impressive that we decided to return for breakfast the following day, which proved to be equally delightful.nnThe establishment boasts excellent customer service, outstanding cuisine, and a splendid atmosphere.
