Short walk to the camp-site which, although small, is nice and private. It is a horseshoe shaped loop on the edge of the trail. Minimalist camping style is easier as the walk involves bush stairs up one side of the hill and then down the other. There is a very steep drop off the very back of the site down to the beach. Access to the beach is found further south along the trail but Illaroo and Minnie Water are better for swimming and are quite accessible. The closest amenities are at Illaroo campground.
Beautiful secluded place that you will have for yourself. No toilets or amenities, you would have to go down the hill to Ilaroo camping grounds. It's good for a solo/couple with light tent, rather than a family with full gear as it is up on a top of the hill. The NSW national park website describes it as "don't mind a short walk to your tent" however this short walk isn't so short and is up steep stairs and then another flight of stairs. So if you are a solo hiker or a couple that would like some privacy with light tent and provisions, then this is a good spot for a day or two. Lots of mozzies and beautiful view.
