The baby play area equipment here is a tad old, but it is none the less an excellent playground for big and small kids. The baby playground area is completely covered in soft mats, not too high or big, and adults can walk right into the small castle with their kids which is excellent for my 2 year old. All the other structures are built in seperate areas, with swings and jungle gyms and the famous rocket all spread out evenly, leaving plenty of space for kids to run around. There is free parking just outside the playground, it is also the entirely fenced so you don’t have to worry about kids running onto the road outside. There are also exercise equipments outside the park as well, but i think those are for adults as opposed to kids.
It's a nice park looking a little dated, could do with an upgrade for the kids. I like the attempt of a fence around the park but it isn't fully fenced so children will still be able to get out. With the park being close to a busy road I don't recommend taking your eyes off of your little ones.
Good playground with fencing around road edge to keep the young ones safe. The rocket is a big draw card, as kids like to climb. There is a sun shade over the seating area. Across the road are a couple of takeaway shops and cafes. If you walk past the community centre, behind the ymca is a flying fox and tennis courts.
Popular for the surrounding residents of this area. Seating to eat fish & chips which you can buy from across the road. $9 for 2x fish, 2x sausage and chips for two ppl. Considering you can't get a meal this cheap in the city.
This place has always been amazing. Especially for families. I attended the opening when I was just a youngn, and now I'm taking my 7mnth old moko gbaby there. Great location, nice picnic area and decent fish & chips right across the road. What more could you ask for :
Very nice place for kids to enjoy and for the grown up to relax.
Big, plenty of variety, accessible, some parking - might be hard to find a park during weekends though.
Needs a bit of a touch up, but otherwise a very good playground. Lots of swings, the rocket ship is very cool and unique, and my daughter loved the castle
It's a nice park with a lot of play equipment and I think kids like the rocket one the most.
Kids really enjoyed the park has a good variety of things for kids to play on.
