It has a good playground not recommend for little little children as some parts may be a little unstable for thier particular stature

This is our favorite spot to take our dogs being just down the street. For the most part the other dog owners are friendly and have well behaved dogs. Only on two occasions have we run into naughty owners with an untrained dog. All the others we've encountered have been positive. I do recommend avoiding the off lead area if you're afraid of dogs as there tend to be a lot of dogs.

I love seeing the Rosellas in the off lead area. There are plenty of wood pigeons and Tuis throughout the park. 

When the tide is out you can walk your dogs a fair way on the beach and there are also plenty of bush walks for on lead dog walking.   
There is also a play area which includes a zip line separate from the dog area. We're usually lucky with parking because the area isn't overly popular.

Got a pretty cool large long slide attached to kiddie playground. Flying fox has gone and so have the swings.. also has an electric bbq but was needing repairs.

Nice place for walk. There is an off leash area for dogs. Very spacious and clean. Love the view and tranquility at the beach.

Great walks thru native bush. Large slide for the kids at the playground and a free bbq to use. Stunning views of the manakau Harbour and surroundings .
