Was looking at campsites specifically searched for free campsites it has bring me to this location needs to change listing to rentals or some sort because this is definitely not a campsite false advertising
Great spot to camp with the family. You feel safe as it is a gated park. There is direct access to the beautiful Ross River and a dog park right behind the camping area. The amenities are clean, there are powered sites, and the caretakers are very friendly!
I can't tell you about the rooms as I have not seen them as I'm in a tent the camping site is unbelievable the trees a are so huge and heaps of shade, I do highly recommend this place for a stop over in Townsville.
A lovely, quiet campground, perfect for our young family. Big open spaces for both power & non-power. Easy river access for long walks, or take the kids to the park. There's a fantastic dog park right at the back for those travelling with their fur babies.nAmenities are dated, but clean.
Best location close to the City, easy bus connection to all attractions. Campground simple and amenities old, but clean. Friendly staff, lot of space. Many silver surfers, welcoming. Excellent prices, we enjoyed our stay. Recommendation!
