Great spot for a walk. Great for LotR fans  Lovely, rather busy as expected however. The loop track is closed until 2024. Don't do a me and walk halfway to have to turn around....

Great walking tracks here in the Kaitoke park and bush. Also can see some Lord of the Rings set location of Rivendell. Not much is there just one arch.

Although weather was horrid, we still had a great relaxing weekend walking, tramping amazing facilities great communal spaces

Beautiful nature walk and a place of pilgrimage for the Lord of the Rings fans

Lord of the Rings sceen There is a suspension bridge assessible by wheelchair.   Parking is just right before the bridge.

Easier to find than when Gandalf visited, the Last Homley House has gone when Elrond and the Elves crossed the sea. Only the entry arch remains....

Nice little walk into a cool Alpine Forest where some of the Lord Of The Rings was shot. Nice walks around it and a pretty cool swing bridge! Few posts and maps around that are movie related and a replica arch
