Thanks IGA for enabling me to purchase my vegetables without plastic. You have more variety than Woolies, literally 12 items I can buy from you that I can’t get at Woolies. I left Woolies tonight discusted due to nearly all of their vegetables being packaged in plastic and travelled 2km to you.
Popped back in here again and it's looking great, obviously some changes since my last visit about 6 years ago. A great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. All isles fully stocked and there was Australia Day merchandise as in flags etc. Friendly customer service.nThe self service was very helpful. Toilet facilities available down passageway. Ample parking. There a choice of walk in bottle shop or a drive thru bottle shop under cover.
Clean, easy to get around, and the kind of local shopping that just works. Plenty of parking, well-kept facilities, and a good variety of shopping without the chaos of a big centre.nnThe staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a relaxed feel to it. If you're a senior, pop in on a Thursday, you’ll get 5% off your shop, which is a great little bonus that not enough places still offer.nnGood to see a local IGA looking after the community.

Management needs to teach their young employees on how to count money. I understand we’re moving into a cashless world, but that’s no excuse to not being able to count coins. I was at the register with this young female employee, my shop added up to $6.40, I gave the worker $6.70 in cents and a few gold coins, and she was having trouble counting and I could see her panicking in her eyes. After 20 seconds of counting she said “I think you’re under.’’ KEY WORD; ‘I Think’. I said “I gave you $6.70 and I get 30 cents change back”. She recounted again, she still had no idea what she was doing, then she just took all the money than served me without receiving my 30 cents. I saw that she was anxious and I felt bad for her, so I didn’t ask for the change and I just left. I’ve seen this problem occur many times across a whole range of businesses employing teenagers. I can’t believe how low education has gotten for the newer generations, management needs to step up.
