The selection of vegetables and spices is impressive, and the snack section is a foodie's paradise. From savory chips to sweet treats, there's something to satisfy every craving.nnUnfortunately, the staff at the snack stall could benefit from some additional customer service training. While the products are excellent, a friendly and welcoming demeanor would enhance the overall shopping experience. It would also be encouraging to see the store invest in fair wages for its employees.nOtherwise, i would have given them five stars.
Large South Asian supermarket.nFresh vegetables are also available plus a hot food counter, seating option has been removed. Hot food is prepared fresh daily.nnPrices are competitive, load up on your Flour, Spices, Rice, Pulses, Frozen and snacks.
Like a warehouse with lots of interesting items, spices available. Owner was very very nice. Bought some coconut powder 2 days earlier. On the 3rd day, there was a massive sale. He honoured the sale price after 2 days. A very good businessman. They also sell cooked food. They are AMAZING. First time trying fish cutlet with egg, Vadir etc etc. Love the flavours. Highly recommend this place when you visit Melbourne.
Happen to chance by this place after visiting the Dandenong Market close by. Well stocked with all kinds of Asian spices, grocery items etc. What surprised me was a corner inside the store selling a variety of cooked food which is only available for take away. Enjoyed their freshly cooked goat briyani rice dish and fish cutlets.
Will always cause food poisoning no matter what. Get food from here if you ever need a sick day from work.nnEdit 16/01/2025:nHi since you asked for further information, the first time my wife and I had food poisoning, I ate the chicken kothu and my wife ate the string hopper. This was in 2024. Since then we have not returned until last week because my parents from overseas were craving Indian food. So we returned and purchased Parotha, fish curry, string hopper kothu, mutton curry. All of us had food poisoning and we had to take my wife to emergency department the next day for 4 vomiting bouts and 5 diarrhoea bouts. We have the hospital receipt if you want further information. But yes, like you say, our bodies are most likely suited for MKS so we will not return. All the best.
