The selection of vegetables and spices is impressive, and the snack section is a foodie's paradise. From savory chips to sweet treats, there's something to satisfy every craving.nnUnfortunately, the staff at the snack stall could benefit from some additional customer service training. While the products are excellent, a friendly and welcoming demeanor would enhance the overall shopping experience. It would also be encouraging to see the store invest in fair wages for its employees.nOtherwise, i would have given them five stars.
Picked up take away as this is my go to for cheap and great Indian food. The variety is amazing and there is an option to do shopping for a large amount of veggies as well. I don’t go there very often but when I do I enjoy the experience and the food
As a local to Dandenong you cannot beat MKS as your first choice for speciality Indian and Sei Lankan food. There is a fast food counter so you can get your quick fix and it's attached to a grocery so it's essentially a one stop shop. The Samoas and pan rolls are quality and they are one of my go-tos when I'm visiting. Can't beat this place!
MKS makes the best fish pan rolls and fish & egg cutlets in town. My younger daughter and I have tried pan rolls from many takeaways everywhere in Melbourne and MKS rolls are the best. Their pan cake is consistent, filled with a nice hot spicy mix, the bread crumb coating is crunchy and very tasty. However we visited MKS on 27th of Dec 2022 around 5 pm, pan rolls were very different, the mixtures was different with a new taste, spice level not so hot and pan cake texture was off. It was not that’s good. I hope this is just a one off and the real MKS pan rolls will be back soon. They also make one of the best Uludu Wades I have tasted. MKS has fed us many times and has the best tasty Sri Lankan and South Indian tastes in town. A must try.
Big asian grocery store, wide variety of Indian and Sri Lankan food available.. they do have a fast food take away counter and a curry section. It gets quite busy around noon. Prices are competitive, food quality is good but some items can be a bit spicy and oily. Sometimes sambar is just water overloaded with spices n veggies.nThey have been around for a while so don't expect a good customer service from some members. Just remember it's not a restaurant and they might not be willing to work that day. It has happened with me so I find it best to ignore it.. Anyways, do try it you might like it as well..
