I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. It is in an extremely touristy area, and yet manages to be well priced and good quality. Nice burgers, and really good onion rings. Great location with a nice outdoor seating area. Service is quick and efficient despite being a busy day. Free water is a nice touch.
The inside area can get a bit smoky despite the fact that they have open windows and fans

I was with my family trying to find a place to have an early dinner and I have to say I do not regret the experience at all.
Pros:
Staff: The Staff were very kind and warm towards the customers and managed the restaurant very well.
Food: The Burgers me and my family had were god damn tasty. A proper meaty burger that came in hot and fairly proportionate in size. Chips were nice and hot too. Even better with the choices of sauce to choose from. 
Drinks: Don't get me started on their Thickshakes because the Vanilla Malt is a flavour I will never forget. Not to mention they were actually 'Thick' Shakes and they came nice and cold. 

Cons:
Time: It took a bit of time for our burgers to come, around 20 minutes but the chips came before so we got to dig into those as we waited, so a Pro and a Con?
Price: It's Australian prices. I'll put it that way.

So for any locals or travellers in that area, don't be afraid or hesitant to visit 'Ribs and Burgers'

Good food although had run out of my first choice meal and drink. Burger was cooked well, the fries were seasoned brilliantly and the onion fries were the highlight. Thinly sliced, lightly battered and seasoned to perfection. Unlike any I have had anywhere else and I'd recommend it as a side.

Great place to get some vitamin BEEF.burgers are good, salads are just as good too. good selection on the menu. ordering system of order upfront then take your seat works for the area, especially busy weekends. so remember that. overall, newtown feeling burger joint. but nothing to really rave about.

I visited on 21 Jan 18.  It was the first place I saw as I exited my hotel (Holiday Inn Old Sydney)...the staff were super friendly, helpful & the service was quick.  Food was just what I needed after arriving in Sydney only an hour before...wholesome & really tasty.  Not expensive & would revisit if I ever make it back to Oz.
