Nestled in the heart of Balmain’s popular dining strip, this Japanese and Western Fusion restaurant creates a contemporary and relaxed escape. Our food is our art and our passion and we have created this gallery to share this experience with you. Open every day for brunch and nights for dinner with a menu that offers from light snacks to full meals, if you are eating exclusively or with the family, we would love to see you!

Hey there everyone! I’m Claire, from Claire’s Gallery. Claire’s Gallery is a restaurant formed with my experiences from Japan, combined with a modern style and taste suited to the Australian palate.
For a long time, we have been preparing all the events and the like for our restaurant, designing the interior, finding the finest chefs and appearing on social networks, but Claire’s Gallery is still a work in progress. We hope that all patrons are able to feel the vibrant energy of the restaurant!
We promise to always keep our ears open for suggestions for improvements, and will always greet you with wide and bright smiles!

Very nice food, friendly staff and good toys etc., to keep the young children occupied. Bento box was great and the kids menu is nice with some great extras. Have had some slight hiccups with our order both times we've been, but I'd still go again and recommend...

Clare is always very welcoming, especially with the kids. The food is great value and good quality Japanese.  $1 SYDNEY rock oysters on Friday Saturday and Sunday.!!!  
Great location opposite Gladstone park.

A small and cozy Japanese restaurant almost at the end of Darling Street Balmain restaurant precinct. Really simple yet effective decor. Lots of color and drawing activities for kids , must be popular with families with young kids. Service was friendly and food was decent. Not the greatest of the Japanese though they don't claim to be and don't charge obnoxious pricing. Had the Teriyaki Salmon bento box. Salmon was tender. Partner had the Katsu chicken , the chicken was bit dry. They also do $1.00 oyesters and $5.00 beer all day everyday

Authentic Japanese food - we stopped by for a quick lunch bite and it was delicious! Recommend the salmon teriyaki and the spicy curry (we had the prawn and vegetable ones). We were served a free fruit salad at the end, thought that was a very nice touch you rarely see these days. Place was filled with Japanese customers having thier Sunday lunch, so that probably speaks for the authenticity of the food. Not pricey, friendly service and kid friendly (there's stuff for kids do fiddle with and you can hang up the artwork on their wall after). We will be back here again for dinner with a Groupon we recently purchased.
